Look at the heavens cloud scape acrylic painting

$375.00

I am excited to share a series of paintings I worked on titled "Looking Up to Heaven." This collection is inspired by my quest for connection with God as I seek His face while looking up at the heavens.

Since experiencing a significant injury from a fall in 2012, the ongoing pain has been a daily reminder of that incident. At times, it feels as if the pain has persisted for just as long. It brings me to my knees, and the search for effective therapies and treatments is often overwhelming both physically and emotionally. In moments when answers and relief seem elusive, I find solace in gazing at the sky. The warmth of the sun and the grandeur of the clouds remind me of the vastness of heaven and our place within it.

These reflections have led me to realize how small I am in comparison to the heavens above, and how my problems pale against the greatness of God. The paintings in this series express not only my feelings but also incorporate scriptures that have inspired each piece.

The first painting features a beautiful cloudscape with a field of flowers, drawing inspiration from Job 35:5: "Look at the heavens and see; and behold the clouds—they are higher than you."

Each 20x20 gallery-wrapped canvas is painted on all sides and ready to hang in your home. The technique used is impasto with palette knife work, bringing a tactile quality that resonates with the themes of the series.
